Energy Guides

Before the 31st of May 2009, I have never heard of Energy Guides. Today I am proud to be associated with this college. Because today I was declared competent as a tourist guide by one of the best guides in the industry, Mr. Fred Pearce. Ja you read right I PASSSED.

I am now a proud ambassador of South Africa,(not the diplomatic type though) I will be getting my badge in a couple of weeks and I will be able to show off my country and more specifically the Gauteng province to adoring tourists from all over the globe.

I found myself guiding my cousin around the other day, it felt so good. the whole concept of knowing about the extra bits that makes our country different from the rest of the world, but we will get into that in another blog, for now I am just happy that I am competent after weeks of stressing and preparation.

But I must let you in on a little secret *if it wasn't for the proffesionalism and unlimited support I got from all the facilitators I would have taken longer to get my qualification.*
